Creating Business Systems For New Entrepreneurs
>> Sunday, October 9, 2011
I build websites as part of creating business systems in my online business. You too can do this using four components: That is to research, create the web content, website development and attract website traffic. It may be a simple four step model that I use, but you can also modify that into further details if you wish. What is important is that employees will have the full picture as to what is going on. That encourages these employees to communicate, keeps the work in progress as long as your staff is well- informed on what needs to be done.
I don't mind if my employees cross communicate. I look after my team members. I make sure that my system hires A players. I know that A players, when we hire them, they've got good integrity. They're not going to rip me off because they know I give them everything including strategic business systems and in return, I get that back. So it doesn't bother me so much, but if you're a little bit paranoid, then maybe you can have a look at doing something like that.
You need to come up with some super pro moves. That is what you need to do if you wish to take this to the next level. When you have somebody assigned to write your Ezine articles, then they should be the one who will be held responsible for doing this task as well as how this system works. This may possibly be handled by a single person, but there has to be a backup in case of additional workload. You need to make sure that there will be a staff to take over and continue the process even in the absence of the other person who acts as first person to take over this process.
When you're working with clients and you're promising them that I'm going to deliver something like creating business systems, there's nothing worse than someone dropping off the perch, you not having the right resource to be able to plug back into it and then you go back to the client and say sorry, I wasn't able to deliver. So you need to make sure that you have those contingencies in place.
Another thing, super pro move, create a system to create systems. The idea is where you create a process for your outsourcers to create processes. It's part of the culture that they help put things underneath them. I know when my project manager started, and he's gone through this process, we do things for my assistant and we're creating the videos. The project manager first did it himself so he could understand it. He became the system architect.
He then created the entire process through which we take our videos so we have them uploaded to YouTube. We have now another assistant refining that system again because now it's dealing with a place where I'm creating these audio interviews. I want to get yourself a group of slides composed. I would like to get yourself a set of slides to complement some audio in order to create a video from my audio presentations. Then I get that chop up then I recieve it uploaded to YouTube. So I'm repurposing content as I am creating business systems for my SEO company today.
